I expected nothing to come of it because I've tried/failed before, but my choral piece "Leaving the House" is being broadcast here: www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p06r2059 at 8pm GMT on the 1st. BBC have an "Introducing" section and I've uploaded tracks previously to no avail, I remembered my account this week and uploaded the track on a whim. Not sure why a choral octet about grief and loss is more accessible than the catchy classical quartets which got rejected, but I'm not going to question it. So anyone in the right country to do so, please listen in and skew the numbers!

Well, I hope someone tuned in, because not only did the DJ get my name wrong (Dave Baxter) he said the piece - which is an elegy for my late parents - has a wholesome christmas feel I had to just laugh.

Hey, at least he got your name right after the piece played. I agree with him, it was stunning.
Great work Mr. Baxter!!!

Beautiful, Dave. Also, the singers were wonderfully expressive, and accurate. Awesome!

Thanks I'm proud of most things I've recorded recently but I'm doubly proud of LTH - so it means a lot when it lands as I intended and hoped, when struggling to write it.
