I haven't seen mention of a file size limit. I never minded the 7mb limit, but I know others did. I don't write anything all that long. Not enough ideas.

It looks like 1mb per file, and the forum overall has a low limit for attachments. Tbh that's the consequence of a free forum, but soundcloud is easy enough as an alternative. I haven't seen mention of a file size limit. I never minded the 7mb limit, but I know others did. I don't write anything all that long. Not enough ideas.

Thanks. Guess I'll finally have to open a soundcloud account.

Well, I know nothing about soundcloud. I'm guessing if I want to post video, I'll need to do it from youtube, or some such place.

Soundcloud only allows audio uploads. Sign up should be pretty easy, you just click on the obvious sign up links, follow the instructions, and start uploading. You don't have to pay anything as long as your uploads do not exceed the allotted audio time limit. If you don't want to ever pay, you can just delete old tracks once you run out of audio time. (That's what I'm planning to do, but their free audio time limit is pretty generous so I haven't run into that limit yet, and probably won't for a while.)
If you want to upload videos, youtube is probably your best choice.

OK. Got a soundcloud account and dusted off my youtube account. Now I just have to have something worth using them for. Oh well.

The upload limit can be added to the forum but at a cost.
