Subject to change and fine-tuning, but in general the warning system for posts will be:
Three verbals, in case the inappropriate posts arise from misunderstanding.
After the third verbal warning, you're then into three permanent strikes. On the fourth warning, your account will be suspended for two weeks; any further warnings post-suspension will result in banning.
This system is intended to make clear why your posts might be viewed as inappropriate and fix a problem before it gets serious. I guarantee that I will explain myself, if your posts require vetting.
Under what circumstances might any of this happen? Fundamentally, this is a forum for the discussion of composing and the specific techniques and approaches surrounding it, notation, scoring, orchestration, and so on. It is geared to practicing composers who either want to improve their work, get feedback on some aspect of it, give feedback and advice in turn, or all three.
This won't apply to the vast majority. But trolling and derailing happens, through personal agendas and vendettas, and it won't be tolerated. If you want to discuss reality itself on someone's post about woodwind orchestration, please don't.
Racist, homophobic, transphobic comments - hate speech generally - are an exception. Do that and you're probably banned immediately.
